Aidclimb is an initiative started by Northeast Mountaineering seven years ago to help those who were unexpectedly struck by tragedy. To raise funds we hike Mount Washington in New Hampshire. In the last 3 years we have shifted the focus and exclusively work with the BWVR to help celebrate and welcome home our wounded veterans in New England. What inspired us to work with Andy and the team was their selfless dedication to help. In the world of non-profits, typically less than 10% of the funds are redirected back to the cause. The BWVR is 100% volunteer. The power of giving is uplifting hope and this (BWVR) organization is doing amazing work day in and day out and we are honored to part of it.

They Fought, We Care is a film about success and our focus is flip the commentary about wounded veterans. Main stream coverage would have you thinking that Veterans are broken. They are a liability in the workplace. They are committing suicide at a rapid pace. All of this isn’t true. We believe that we all have the power to make a difference and we know that there are thousands of veteran success stories. It doesn’t take an extraordinary talent or supreme intelligence to be a role model or inspiration. The majority of us are, by many measures, ordinary. Not heroes. To be an ordinary parent, child, sibling, soldier or other is a fight worth fighting and an extraordinary accomplishment. We all have a story to tell and our Veterans’ voices deserve to be heard in an ordinarily powerful way. We are humbled by their commitment to our country and the sacrifices they have made to protect our right to enjoy a cup of great coffee, hike mountains, bring our spouses and kids to the park and the freedoms and liberties that define America. We understand that or many Veterans, they do not accept the title of “hero.” But to us, they are. For all that they have and continue to do, We say thank you. This film is a testament to their selfless pride, commitment to service, and showcases their success.
